Anytime you have a question about a potential issue with your home, we will schedule a time to address the problem. Rather than having a long list of people to call, our services makes it easy for you as a homeowner to have a one-stop-shop for maintenance.
All service work includes a complementary assessment to any problem found in your home. We will assess the issue, then determine if we will be able to fix it or if a subcontractor will be necessary.
We can fix hardware, small paint projects, small plumbing and electrical issues, carpentry projects, build furniture, hang TVs, install mailboxes/posts, power wash outdoor areas and patio furniture, etc. If we can't fix it, we will find a subcontractor to solve the issue.
All subscriptions include complementary furnace filters, water softener salt, and service assessments. Materials purchased for service work will be billed to clients upon completion.
Out-of-town home check-ups are included in the Deluxe and Premium subscriptions. Those subscribers are able to inform Hansen Home Services about vacation plans, work trips, or any time the family will be away from home.
If you're away for a day or 6 months, we will create an out-of-town plan for your home. Depending on the duration of your vacation, we check on your home every day, every few days, or every week.
Each time we check on your home, we will check on all the major systems and appliances, collect mail and packages, trash and recycling service (if the vacation falls on trash day), start your car if requested, and check windows/doors and the surrounding area of your home to ensure security.
Hansen Home Services will check on all of the major systems in your home each month to ensure they are running properly and there is no odd behavior, sounds, leaking, or appearance issues. Preventative care includes most systems in your home including your furnace, water heater, water softener, air exchanger, boiler, and more. If there is a potential issue, we will assess the problem and call one of our subcontractors to schedule maintenance.
Emergency service calls are issues that need to be fixed immediately. For example, if you walk into the mechanical room and notice a pipe leaking, we will walk you through steps to temporarily resolve the issue over the phone and get out to your home as soon as possible.
Any emergency service calls between 9AM and 5PM Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) will be billed as normal service work.
Any service scheduled through Hansen Home Services is included in the subcontractor discounts. You may keep the discount as an emergency fund in case a large electrical issue arrises, save it for yearly furnace tune-ups, or use it to update some landscaping in the spring, you name it!
If the subcontractor service includes any warranties, we will have them bill you directly - if so, you will receive a check for the subcontractor discount.
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. We will prorate the difference to the nearest week.
We will send an invoice to your email each month or year, depending on your subscription plan. You may pay online using credit card or direct deposit, or give us a check in person or by mail. Any services that require additional payments will be added on to the monthly bill or will be billed separately each month.
